Novel protein for sensitivity management

A dual-protein formulation using lamb and beef to diversify protein exposure in dogs with suspected sensitivities to more common poultry-based diets. Designed to support skin barrier function and digestive tolerance in small breeds, while maintaining complete amino acid adequacy and a controlled fatty acid profiles

Outcomes

Alternative protein structure to reduce reliance on common-poultry-based diets
fatty acid profile calibrated to support skin barrier function.
Fiber composition selected to support stool consistency in sensitive small breeds.

Ingredients

Ground lamb (85% lean), ground beef (90% lean), egg, sweet potato, spinach, summer squash, pumpkin, beef liver, cucumber, parsley, sunflower seeds, dill, ground turmeric, ground ginger, bonemeal, omega-3 fish oil, PGF vitamin and mineral premix. Ingredients are selected to balance protein diversity, fatty acid composition, and digestive tolerance in small-breed physiology.

Guaranteed Analysis

Full nutrient composition is provided for veterinary review. Values are presented as-fed
and on a dry matter basis for clinical comparison

Formulation Logic

Protein Sources: Lamb and beef provide diversified a protein base for dogs
transitioning away from poultry-based diets.. Both contribute complete amino acid
profiles to support lean muscle maintenance.

Fatty Acid Balance: The omega-6 to omega-3 ratio of 5.55:1 is calibrated to support
skin barrier function. Omega-3 fish oil provides EPA and DHA to maintain inflammatory
balance.

Digestive Support: Pumpkin and selected fibers support stool consistency and
microbial fermentation. Carbohydrate sources are chosen for digestibility and tolerance.

Micronutrient Precision: A custom vitamin and mineral premix is used to ensure
consistent nutrient delivery and absorption efficiency.

Bioactive Compounds: Turmeric and ginger contribute polyphenol compounds.
Inclusion levels are controlled and balance bioactivity with tolerance

AAFCO Statement

Nutritional Adequacy
Formulated to meet AAFCO nutrient profiles for adult maintenance, with batch-level
verification of micronutrient density.

Serving and Storage Guidelines

Feeding Guidelines
Feeding amounts are calculated based on body weight, activity level, and body
condition score.
Due to higher fat content relative to low-fat formulation, portion sizes may be smaller.
Transition gradually over 5-7 days. Dogs with sensitivities may require an extended
transition period.

Storage Instructions
Keep refrigerated at or below 40°F. Use within 3 days of opening. May be frozen for
extended storage; thaw under refrigeration prior to feeding. Do not leave at room
temperature for extended periods.
Prepared without preservatives. Proper refrigeration is required to maintain safety and
nutrient integrity.
